Google confirms that the Pixel 11 is going up in price

Google’s Vice President of Tools and Services, Shakil Barkat, all but confirmed in an interview with 9 to 5 Google that its next Pixel phone will cost more than the Pixel 10. Considering the RAM issues that are happening because of the explosion in the data center AI, false inflation it’s not entirely surprising. Companies from apple to Nintendo, Microsoft to A yearboth have raised their prices due to the rising cost of memory.

Barkat said Google has “protected our customers from change for a long time,” but “the economy has changed dramatically and we are not immune to that.” He went on to tell 9to5 that the Pixel team will see “modifications” in pricing, which will be “strictly set to match current trends.”

The base model of the Pixel 11 is expected to be more expensive $899but it will come with 256GB of storage, instead of 128GB. It is also heard that Pixel 11 Pro it can go from 16GB of RAM to 12GB. We don’t have to wait long to find out, though. Google is set to announce the next generation of Pixel devices on August 12.
