“Google and Reddit are offline," web scraper says after the court success

After a huge court loss last week, Google has confirmed that it will not give up its fight to prevent AI bots from destroying its results. And Reddit is amazing for this journey.

In an effort to invoke the Digital Millennium Copyright Act (DMCA), Google sued SerpApi December is over. The expert accused the internet scraper of violating its anti-scraping technology and selling the scraped data from Google’s search results through an unauthorized “Google Search API” program.

According to Google, the anti-scraping tech was in place to protect copyrighted content from search results.
