God of War Laufey is coming to PS5

Sony ended its big State of Play presentation with a big reveal: the sequel God of War. A new topic is called God of War Laufeyand was also developed by Sony’s Santa Monica Studio. At the moment, the game doesn’t have a date, but it’s coming to PS5 whenever it launches.

This time, instead of the constant anger of father Kratos, players will be in charge of Faye / Laufey, as the title suggests. This means that even the tone of the game seems to be the same as before God of War roles, the gameplay looks very different, with a lot of aerobatic things followed by magic instead of Kratos’ extreme violence. Also there is a 6-legged cat that can fly. And a little talking point called Phranque that fights you.

The new game is an adaptation of the blockbuster video game, which for years has focused on the issues of fatherhood. With Faye’s role, it looks like mom is getting her due.
