“I think it was a big picture for the rest of the week to try to get a good boost for the crowd, and the team. So I felt that hope, but it’s nothing I can’t do.”
You get the sense that there’s little that could upset the Alloa native – a temporary lack of recognition – and he didn’t mind visiting the drug testers after the race.
Scott finished the weekend – he’s an old boy in the swimming pool – but he did his part to set Glasgow 2026 on the right note.
