Businessman Enrique Riquelme, in a decisive strategic move as part of Real Madrid’s presidential campaign, announced on Sunday the full board of directors that will accompany him if he wins the upcoming elections, a list that includes 11 members of the business elite and experts close to him.
Medina Cuadros… the expert who knows the secrets of the club
Heading the list is vice-presidential candidate Antonio Medina Cuadros, a prominent lawyer who currently serves as secretary of the board of directors of the multinational Cox Group.
Medina has a lot of experience in the corridors of the Royal Club. He previously served as General Secretary and Board Member of Real Madrid Football Club, in addition to Executive Vice President and Secretary of the Real Madrid Foundation.
Business partners and different experiences
The list includes Cox Group’s global financial director José Olivier Pena, Hector Fabian Gómez Saenz García, a Mexican businessman with international investments, and Daniel Vicente Nicolas Meras, the third generation of the founding family of the ancient Nichols jewelry store in Madrid.
The board also includes Rosauro Varo Rodríguez, president of GAT Inversiones and club member for 12 years, Raúl Rodríguez González, director of corporate relations at Medina Quadros law firm and club member since 1997, and Dr. Angel Martín Hernández, founder of Menorca Medical Clinic.

The board includes José Alberto Martínez Cibro, 4209 member for more than 56 years, Juan Luis Mendoza Solano, who has extensive experience in the automotive industry, Rocio Sobrini Pacot, the only woman on the list and CFO of the QDQ media group and member of the secret club for 31 years, Gaberary, who has been president for 31 years and Francaber; Best Fruit and former member of the Board of Trustees of the Real Madrid Foundation.
