Gemini 3.5 and Antigravity come to Google NotebookLM


Google NotebookLM was one of the companies that pioneered AI technology, and in an un-Googley way, it hasn’t been shut down yet. In fact, NotebookLM is getting one of its biggest updates, from the past, today, moving to the latest version of Gemini 3.5, support for many file types, and including web resources. Google also says that NotebookLM will be able to do more with all these queries thanks to the support of Antigravity.

Google side by side tested NotebookLM on the old Gemini 3.1 branch and with 3.5. The company is not clear about the quality of these tests, and divides products into “five main evaluation dimensions,” which are Accuracy and Quality, Multilingual Support, Large Data Analysis, Document Production, and Advanced Research. In this test, Google says so NotebookLM was 65 percent better than the previous version.

NotebookLM also has “cloud computing,” which allows NotebookLM to use Antigravity to write and run code for your research purposes. Google says that NotebookLM will come with over 100 apps that will allow you to take notes and take notes that previously required you to jump between apps.
