Former EastEnders star Natalie Cassidy is training as a carer after her father died.

While studying home care, she meets Lisa, who has early-onset multiple sclerosis, and her partner, Gary, who cares for her. Meeting them was “very emotional,” says Cassidy. “They’re smiling, they’re happy, they’re in love. They’re making the best of what they’ve got.”
