The “FIFA Media” account reported through the “X” platform that the match between the Pharaohs and the Iranian national team on the “beIN Sports” channel, the exclusive broadcaster of the tournament in the region, recorded 107.4 million views.

FIFA has confirmed that the match, which was decided at the last minute, became the largest public event in the history of the region by the number of viewers.

The international federation added that the historic broadcast went beyond being just a football match to become a “record-breaking public event” that brought millions of viewers to their screens in a spectacle that reflected the great passion for football in the Arab world and Iran.
