Ayoub Bouadi is a great European talent
Manchester United are keen to sign Lille’s young French midfielder Ayoub Bouadi, 18, in the upcoming summer transfer window as part of the club’s plan to rebuild their midfield following the departure of Brazil international Casemiro.
French journalist Abdullah Boulmy has revealed that the Red Devils’ management have made numerous attempts to meet with representatives of the player, who is widely regarded in European football circles, given the fierce competition from other big clubs for promising French talent.
The secret weapon to seal the deal
In a landmark move, Manchester United are eyeing the help of their legend Sir Alex Ferguson to convince Bouadi to move to Old Trafford in an attempt to win over rivals Arsenal and Bayern Munich, who are closely monitoring the deal.
The move comes in light of Paris Saint-Germain’s long-term interest in the player, prompting the English club to use their legendary former coach’s influence to tip the balance in their favour.

Multitasking player
Bouadi played 39 matches for Lille this season and proved to be an irreplaceable player in the French national team.
The player stands out for his ability to play alongside the right-back as a defensive midfielder, while his dribbling skills and defensive actions are some of his most popular technical weapons.
Possible obstacles to the transaction
However, completing the deal could face real challenges as Waadi has enjoyed regular participation and remarkable development at the club whose academy he grew up in.
In addition, the possibility of Lille qualifying for the Champions League next season could be a big temptation for the footballer to continue his career with the French team and compete with them in the continent’s most prestigious league.

An ambitious future vision
Manchester United are betting on Bouadi as a key element of their future project as they see him as a player who can immediately contribute to changing the course of the team.
The club are aiming to create an exceptional midfield pairing of Bouad and 21-year-old Kobi Maino, who recently signed a new contract extending until June 2031.
Defensively, United rely on 20-year-old Lino Euro and 19-year-old Aiden Haven as the defensive pillars of the future, and adding Bouadi to this young squad could represent a leap in quality for the club to regain its glory.
