FCC Chairman Brendan Carr’s War on the First Amendment

As chairman of the Federal Communications Commission, Brendan Carr has authority over television, radio, and the Internet. But since Donald Trump was elected to his second term, Carr has used that power to threaten broadcasters who have exercised their right to free speech to make fun of the president. He even managed to get ABC to briefly pull Jimmy Kimmel from his late-night show. Like Seaside editor-in-chief Nilay Patel saidCarr’s mission is to “destroy the First Revolution.” We will be watching closely as the FCC chairman seeks to destroy American freedoms.
