Expected deal.. Real Madrid changes Mercato Italy calculations

Real Madrid are set to make a decision on one of the Italian league’s most intriguing names of late, a move whose ramifications may not be confined to the corridors of the Spanish club, but quickly spread across the Italian transfer market and reshape the accounts of more than one club.

Real Madrid have gone strong in the transfer market, making some strong signings such as Bernardo Silva, Marc Cucurella and Ibrahima Konate after signing Portuguese coach Jose Mourinho.

Real president Florentino Perez, who was recently re-elected, is keen to restore the Merengue’s luster, which has faded over the past two seasons as they have found themselves without a major title.
