A unique experience

Confirm Harry Kane, England captainHe previously played golf with US President Donald Trump, describing the experience as “very special”, ahead of his country’s upcoming World Cup quarter-final against Norway.

Trump revealed earlier this week that he played golf with Ken. “I think Ken is a great player. I’ve played golf with him and I really like him. He’s a good golfer too, he’s really great,” he told reporters.

Kane explained that this tour was held 18 months ago in Florida, expressing his admiration for Trump’s level of golf, despite his 80 years.

“I did well to be honest, but 18 months ago he invited me to play when I was in Palm Beach,” the 32-year-old forward said ahead of Saturday’s World Cup quarter-final against England and Norway.

He added: “When the president of the United States invites you somewhere, it’s a very special experience, whether it’s meeting him or playing golf with him.”

He continued. “Honestly, his level of golf is very good. I hope I can play at the same level as him when I get to his age, that’s for sure. It was a unique experience and I was just grateful that he invited me to play.”

Kane has confirmed that England are looking to please legendary Sir David Beckham after the former Three Lions captain wanted to meet the players ahead of their crucial clash against Erling Holland’s Norway.

Yesterday, Friday, the England team trained at the facilities of American League rival “Inter Miami”, whose co-owner is Beckham.

Beckham, 51, attended training in Fort Lauderdale with his two sons Romeo and Cruz, and he also chatted with the players in the gym before they took the field, after previously attending a number of England matches at this summer’s World Cup.
