Apple did its job The annual Worldwide Developer Conference today. WWDC it’s an event where the company uses its keynote to announce many of its upcoming changes programs platform on iPhone, iPad, Apple Watch, and Mac.
apple has been chasing artificial intelligence for the past few years, though many of the promised AI features on its platforms have been delayed or never materialized. he came out in a crowded suite. To fix this, Apple entered a agreement and Google to use its Gemini AI as the backbone to power Apple Intelligence. Years later I wonder how the deal is can appearApple revealed that vision today.
Apple’s head of software Craig Federighi said that Apple’s main story will focus on three main things: improving the platform, changes in trust and security, and “big leaps” in Apple Intelligence and Siri. The main focus was on an update to Apple’s Siri assistant that makes it sound like a modern AI chatbot. The rest of the AI has been used throughout Apple’s ecosystem, in iOS, iPadOS, MacOS, WatchOS, and VisionOS.
This was also the last WWDC for CEO Tim Cook, who signed his post, saying, “I hope the best is ahead.” Apple announced in April that Cook will become executive chairman effective September 1, when John Ternus, senior vice president of hardware engineering, will step in as CEO.

When the new software update arrives this fall, Apple’s AI models will be paired with Google’s Gemini to improve the communication and cognitive capabilities of its apps. This means that all of Apple’s applications that use AI—which goes beyond Siri’s voice assistant including Email, Messages, Safari, and Photos, among others—will better understand what you’re trying to do and be better at delivering results that make sense.
These AI-powered features can be found in some form on all Apple devices. AI features will also be able to look at data stored on your device, what’s on the screen, and what the camera sees to answer questions, create notes and photos, and perform basic tasks you ask it to do.
Apple, which has a long time emphasized his privacyit is said that most of this computing is done on the physical device (so it can only have the latest hardware) and when it needs to send a request to the cloud, it does so securely.
