EufyMake E1 UV Printer Review (2026): Add 3D Texture to Mugs, Magnets, and More

I am very happy with EufyMake Studio software. If you’re not already comfortable working in Photoshop or other image editing software, you’ll want to spend some time learning how layers and transparency work, as well as browsing dots per inch (dpi) and image types, assuming you’re going to print things you like. There’s a bit of trial and error involved in getting things right every time you switch gears, but the presets for each are a good place to start. If you, like me, are familiar with editing software, you will get the look naturally. I never had any problems selecting and editing multiple layers, changing the look and feel of prints, or uploading my photos.

If you are not working from your photos, you can print directly from the sharing section of the program, which is divided into two sections: Tasks and Productions. In the Projects tab, other E1 users upload photos of their creations, including keyboard mugs, photo displays, keys, and jewelry. It’s easy to take a design from this section and replace it with your own photos and images. Every time I open this tab, I see ways to use E1 that I never thought of. The Designs tab has some useful templates, and it’s also somewhat cluttered with AI-generated garbage. For example, every time I try to find a background or banner here, I get renderings of three famous video game characters trapped in plastic bags, appearing on the front page. Also, the design is not practical or customizable.

The creation of the E1 is impressive, as the machine has a small form factor of 23 x 10 x 16 inches. You may never know that the mugs or machines you handle come from someone’s basement and not a factory. The printer works best when using clean, crisp images. To test it, I created a logo for an existing company and published it on the cloud. Even though the image was circles and text on a transparent PNG file, the print, with white borders and raised text, feels like something you’d find in a store, not my office. Additional components provide the right depth and smooth touch that results in a polished product.

Images came out detailed and vivid, thanks to 1,440 dpi and a strong color combination. Although, combining shapes with your photos will require a bit of tweaking in the program’s settings or playing with masks.

There are several factors that make using the E1 more difficult than a 2D or 3D printer. To get started, you need to install the machine in a private location. While Anker assured me that the E1 is “safe to walk with while the printer is running,” I was also advised to wear blue light-reducing glasses if I’m looking at a quick print job. For best results, you may want to keep children and pets away from your area while you print.
