Escaping Al Hilal… a renegotiation begins Nunez’s journey to the Italian league

Al Hilal forward Darwin Nunez of Uruguay has begun his journey to move to the Italian league next season, given the complexity of his situation with Al-Zaim and his permanent departure from their ranks.

Nunez moved to Al Hilal from Liverpool in the last summer transfer window, but failed to prove his worth and was left out of the squad for the second half of the current season.

Italian journalist Niccolò Scira confirmed that the history of the Uruguayan striker with “Al Hilal” has already ended and that he will leave the team in the upcoming summer transfer period.

Scherra explained in a tweet via his official account on the website X that Nunez has already been offered to two Italian league clubs for a move to one of them next summer.

This will be the 26-year-old’s first experience in the Italian league, having previously played for Penarol, Almeria, Benfica, Liverpool, in addition to Al Hilal.

It is noteworthy that Nunes participated in 24 matches for the Saudi Arabian national team this season, during which he managed to become the author of 9 goals and 5 assists.
