Emma Raducanu is targeting a return to the WTA Tour in Strasbourg following her withdrawal from the Italian Open due to health reasons.
But the British number one is dependent on a wild card as he missed the entry deadline.
The 23-year-old Raducanu was given a bye into last year’s WTA 500 tournament and defeated top 20 player Daria Katkina, losing to American Daniel Collins.
It is yet to be confirmed whether the race will start on May 17 or not.
