Brazil midfielder Ederson has signed a contract extension at Atlanta after his proposed move to Manchester United fell through.

The Old Trafford club agreed a £35m fee for the 27-year-old on 2 June.

A plan to treat him in early July was scrapped when Ederson received a late call-up to his country’s World Cup squad due to Wesley’s injury.
