Real Madrid are considering a historic move against Fede Valverde and Aurelien Choumini after the pair clashed in the dressing room.
As reported by the Spanish newspaper “Sport”, Real Madrid is experiencing one of the most embarrassing moments in its recent history, two years without a title, in addition to the tremendous tension that has spread to the dressing room.
He pointed out that the recent spat between Valverde and Chuamini was an example of the bad climate in the team, prompting president Florentino Perez to consider taking drastic measures to impose discipline and immediately correct the course of the first team.
The club took the first protocol step by opening a disciplinary case for the players to apply the disciplinary rules against them. However, the Spanish newspaper revealed that Real Madrid could face the maximum penalty, which is to remove the players to repair the dressing room.
He explained that the penalties against Perez ranged from a financial fine, a several-match suspension to players being offered on the transfer market, especially as this altercation, which ended with Valverde being taken to hospital, was considered a very serious incident at a time when the club had grown weary of recurring internal incidents such as the Rudiger-Carras fist fight.
“Sport” confirmed that Florentino Perez would not hesitate to sell Valverde and Chuamin if necessary, despite their high technical value, especially since the Uruguayan did not contribute to calming the atmosphere with his statement after the dispute.
The Spanish newspaper reported that Perez had made unpopular decisions in the past, such as selling Cristiano Ronaldo to Juventus for €100 million and not renewing Sergio Ramos’ Madrid contract to prevent Barcelona from winning the title against him.
