Dreame’s L20 Ultra robovac is an unbeatable value for $280

The Dreame L20 Ultra it’s not the company’s latest model, but it’s still a great robovac/mop hybrid that offers powerful performance while requiring little daily maintenance thanks to its trash bin and AI obstacle avoidance. Edge Readers can find the best value for money right now. Originally $1,400 when it launched in 2023, it dropped to $279 from The Wellbots and what? L20 VERGE.

What makes the L20 Ultra so great at this price point is that it can do so much on its own – therefore more than other robovacs in this price range. The integrated unit vacuums the dust, washes and dries the mop pads, and refills the robot’s water tank during the cleaning cycle. The L20 Ultra also offers reliable AI-powered obstacle avoidance and can quickly capture the state of your home, meaning you don’t have to pay attention to it while it’s cleaning. Thanks to its large dust reservoir, you can ignore it for up to 75 days without throwing it away yourself.

The Robovac does a great job cleaning carpets and hardwood floors alike, thanks to its 7,000Pa of suction power. In addition, its oscillating pads spread when needed to clean floorboards and corners. It can lift the spray pads over the carpets, or return to its original position to remove them.

Of course, being a three-year-old robot, it doesn’t have some of the extras found on newer models. For example, $1,349.99 ($150 off) Dream X60here is one of our favorite robovacs – it offers 35,000Pa of suction, two rubber brushes, and a swinging fire arm that can climb on tall floors between rooms. Even without them, the L20 Ultra still offers many valuable features that are not offered at this price.
