Last week, the Ukrainian military struck deep into Russian territory, piercing air defenses in a major strike in the Moscow region.

The move came a week after fears of an invasion of Ukraine forced Russia to scale back its annual Victory Day celebrations.

Kyiv has also been hitting Russian oil facilities and military facilities, while trying to disrupt front-line weapons.

All this while Russian military equipment and drones continue to target areas in Ukraine.
