Disappointing news from the Brazilian camp regarding Neymar

Concerns are growing in Brazil’s national team camp over the fitness of star Neymar Jr., who is still nursing a right calf injury that threatens his participation in their next match against Haiti at the 2026 World Cup.

As reported by the Brazilian network “Globo”, Neymar underwent a new medical examination on Monday to assess the degree of recovery from the injury that kept him out of the field for about a month.

Reports have confirmed that the footballer will continue his treatment program without taking part in group training, making it almost impossible for him to feature in the next match.

Since the start of Brazil’s preparations on May 27, Neymar has not participated in a single training session under the supervision of coach Carlo Ancelotti, who invited him despite knowing that he was not fully ready.

The coaching staff is concerned that the injury will worsen, especially since the calf muscle is considered one of the most difficult injuries for players who rely on speed and physical explosiveness.

Although his condition has gradually improved, the medical staff is choosing to take a cautious approach to his recovery, focusing on maintaining muscle mass and cardiovascular fitness to ensure he gradually returns to his best.

The Brazilian Football Confederation is paying special attention to Neymar’s case, realizing his technical and moral importance in the team, at a time when everyone hopes that he will appear in the next stages of the tournament without additional risks.
