Despite equal opportunities, Wenger is eyeing the Champions League title

Former Arsenal coach Arsene Wenger, who is currently FIFA’s head of global football development, has predicted who will win the Champions League.

The Puskas Arena will host the Champions League final between Arsenal and reigning champions Paris Saint-Germain this Saturday night.

Arsenal’s website published Wenger’s statements which he made on UEFA’s website, where he said: “I want this trophy to reach the Emirates Stadium because it doesn’t have this title.

He added: “In general, I think that “Arsenal” has reached a stage where they can win this title.

Wenger continued. “I see the final as 50-50 and if I had to bet, I would bet more on Arsenal than Paris Saint-Germain.

The French coach noted. “The most important thing is that your team doesn’t feel intimidated or overwhelmed, and continues to focus on the things they’re good at.”

“Paris have tremendous attacking power, but Arsenal also have great individual quality and are very good in set-pieces, which could have a huge impact in the final.”
