Journalist Manu Carreno believes that Frenchman Kylian Mbappe, the star of Real Madrid, released the phrase “Hala Madrid” during El Clasico with a specific motive or purpose.
Mbappe caused a storm of controversy after he posted a picture of himself watching El Clasico with the words “Hala Madrid” even though the Royals trailed by two goals without reply.
“Mundo Deportivo” newspaper published Manu Carreno’s statements during Radio SER’s El Larguero program.
Carreno said: “What about Real Madrid?” You can lose the league to Barcelona, who are more stable and organised, but what a Real Madrid fan cannot accept is for the team to end the season collapsing, almost disappearing or destroying itself.
