Death is heartbreaking "beIN Sports:"

We mourned him on Facebook

Omani commentator Khalil Al Balushi, one of the most prominent voices on Qatar’s beIN Sports network, has announced the death of his father in news that has saddened the sports and media community in the Sultanate of Oman and the Arab world.

Al-Balushi mourned his father through a post on his official Facebook page, in which he said:

“My beloved father has passed away, the support of my life and a piece of my heart with his Lord. O God, forgive him and have mercy on him, settle him in your spacious gardens and raise him up for what happened to him. Pray for mercy and forgiveness for him.

The post received a wide response from Al Balushi’s followers and colleagues in the sports community, who expressed their condolences and sympathies, asking God to bless the deceased with his great mercy and to inspire his family with patience and comfort.
