Deadly strike.. Al-Nasr lose attacking weapon ahead of Al-Hilal battle

The technical staff of Al-Nasr team received a new shock a few days before the upcoming Clasico with Al-Hilal, when muscle soreness struck its Brazilian star Angelo Gabriel again, threatening his participation in the crucial summit of the Roshen League.

Citing sources close to the club, the Saudi Al-Youm newspaper said that the young winger recently returned from back muscle pain, which required an X-ray examination today, Friday, to determine the extent of the injury and be ready for the match.

Angelo, 21, missed Al-Nasr’s last league match against Al-Shabaab with the same injury before the pain returned as preparations for the derby resumed.

The Brazilian has been one of Al-Alami’s most prominent attacking assets this season, as he has made 38 appearances in various competitions, scoring 8 goals and providing 12 assists for his teammates in 2,874 minutes.

Al-Nasr is set to host arch-rivals Al-Hilal at the Al-Awal Park Stadium next Tuesday at 9:00 PM in Round 32 of the Saudi Roshan League.
