Spain coach Luis de la Fuente presented his book “Life is a daily training” in Madrid, in which he reflected on his sports career, about a month before the start of the 2026 World Cup in the USA, Canada and Mexico.

Regarding the World Cup, De Lafuente made a promise to the Spanish fans, saying: “We will compete until the end, because this is our philosophy.”
The Spanish national team is in the eighth group of the world championship with Saudi Arabia, Uruguay and Cape Verde.
As for his biggest fear now, he explained. “There will be no medium or long-term injuries. But we have a united team, a family that works very well. This is the most important thing for us.”
De la Fuente summed up his work philosophy by saying: “You don’t have to consume yourself trying to convince someone to be a good person. Just do it. For others, self-sacrifice is the essence of humanity in the world of football. That’s what great players are. Messi is a great player and a good person. One who may lack more talent than one who may possess greater quality.”
