Al-Don is looking for his first official crown with the international team
Portugal’s Cristiano Ronaldo, Al-Nasr star, is on the verge of losing the top scorer title in the Saudi Arabian League with one round to go in the season.
Al-Nasr will host their visitors Damak in the 34th round (final) of the Roshan Saudi Arabia Professional League today, Thursday evening, at their first stadium, the Park.
Al Nasr must win to officially be crowned the Saudi League title, knowing they top the table from second-placed Al-Hilal, who host Al-Fayha.
and:Ronaldo did not win any official titles with Al-Nasr Since joining Al-Alami in January 2023, he won the King Salman Cup of Arab Clubs in the same year.
Last Saturday, Ronaldo came close to winning his first title with Al-Nasr, but lost to Japan’s Gamba Osaka (1-0) in the second final of the AFC Champions League and hopes to make amends today with the Saudi League title.
Although Al-Don did not win any group titles, he won the top scorer title in the Roshen League in the two seasons he played fully with Al-Nasr (2023-2024) and (2024-2025).
In his first full season, Ronaldo scored 35 goals (a single season record), and in his second season, he also won the top scorer award with 25 goals.
But it looks like he will lose his favorite title this season to England’s Ivan Toney, Al-Ahli striker and top scorer with 32 goals.
Before the final round, the Portuguese star has 26 goals in the third place, 4 goals behind the second-placed “Al-Cadisia” forward Julian Quiñones.
But Ronaldo’s record (most goals in a single season) will stand after Al-Ahly ended their Roshan League campaign with a 4-1 win against Al-Khaleij yesterday, Wednesday.
