Hosts Nepal defeated Scotland by six wickets in the second Cricket World Cup League 2 match of the ongoing tri-series.
Scotland batted first in Kirtipur and were all out for 194 after Brandon McMullen’s 44-ball 73 and Michael English’s steady 51.
Lalit Rajvanshi took four wickets along with Scotland captain Richie Berrington (12) and Michael Lisk (one).
In Nepal’s reply, Khushal Vurtel was lbw off McMullon for 28 and Asif Sheikh was dismissed for 29 at the start of the boundary.
But Ishan Pandey’s 55 and Rohit Paudel’s unbeaten 74 put Nepal firmly on top as they finished on 199-4, with Paudel ending the contest with a six.
The Scots beat Nepal and USA earlier in the series and will play again on Wednesday.
Nepal also have two wins in the tri-series ahead of their final match against USA on Friday.
