Continued marginalization. Will Al-Nusairi receive another shock in the Union?

Moroccan striker Youssef En-Nessiri is going through a tough time at Saudi club Al-Ittihad after being sidelined by Portuguese coach Sergio Conceicao.

Conceicao decided to send Al-Nusairi off in the last round match against Al-Etifaq in a technical decision that surprised everyone, and despite this, Al-Ittihad managed to win 3-1.

Saudi newspaper Al-Riyadiya reported that Conceicao could once again drop Al-Nusairi from the squad for the game against Al-Shabaab, scheduled for tomorrow, Sunday, which was postponed from the 28th round of the Roshen Professional League.

He explained that Conceicao is looking at more than one option before making a final decision, as the comparison currently centers between Youssef En-Nessiri and France’s Georges Alenechia, after the pair were ruled out of Al-Ettifaq’s last game due to technical reasons related to overseas roster selection.

Youssef Al-Nusairi will have to decide his stance on continuing at Al-Ittihad after the end of the season after failing to present his credentials, but the player has received several offers from Roshen League clubs.
