Come to our WIRED@NIGHT02 Films!

For the second time WIRED@NIGHT event, WIRED presents a special presentation of The Oldest Man in the Worlddocumentary that won’t be in theaters until September. Appropriately, the location is Green-Wood Cemetery in Brooklyn.

The Oldest Man in the Worlddirected by Oscar-nominee Sam Green, it’s a ten-year world tour of an ever-changing list of the world’s greatest superheroes. What begins as a portrait of longevity becomes a meditation on the passage of time, the impermanence of fate, and the joy and deep human experience of being alive.

After the video, Green will be joined by director Reyhan Harmanci to discuss the topic of WIRED – longevity. What we can learn from these “elders”, is why people are so busy looking for a long life. Are we here for a good time, or a long time?
