Christian Eriksen ‘in good spirits’ after fall, Denmark team doctor says

Christian Eriksen is “in good spirits” after collapsing against Ukraine and is expected to be released from hospital soon, Denmark’s national team doctor Morten Bosen has said.

Speaking to BBC Sport Ahead of his return in 2022, Eriksen said he has no concerns about playing with the ICD.

“I don’t see any risk, no. I have an ICD, if anything, I’m safe,” added the Wolfsburg midfielder.

Neither Denmark nor Ukraine qualified for the World Cup, which starts on Thursday.
