The Belgian star continues with Leot
Al-Shabaab club have recently put an end to the controversy surrounding the future of their Belgian star Yannick Carrasco after officially announcing the player’s contract extension and his continuation with the team next season.
There have been many reports in recent weeks suggesting Carrasco could leave Al-Shabaab given the club’s instability at technical and administrative levels, in addition to reports of strained relations between the Belgian and Moroccan striker Abdel Razak Hamdalla.
Despite this speculation, the youth management managed to close the deal early by activating a clause in the player’s contract that called for an extra season to extend the contract for the Belgian captain to continue his career at Al Liot and close the door on all talk of his future.
Carrasco is considered one of the most important elements of the youth team, as he played an important role last season and was the most popular star in the squad due to his great offensive contribution and ability to make a difference in key matches.
