Caroline Dubois splits from trainer Shane McGuigan ahead of lightweight title defense against Amelia Moore | Boxing news

Caroline Dubois has split with trainer Shane McGuigan ahead of her bid to defend her WBC and WBO lightweight titles against Amelia Moore in Birmingham on August 29, live on Sky Sports.

McGuigan, who has established himself as one of the best boxing trainers in the world, began working with Dubois in 2021.

Together, the pair have enjoyed some great success, with McGuigan guiding Dubois to a 25-year title-unification win over Myra Monio, Bo Mi Rae Shin and Terry Harper in April.

Dubois takes on Moore at the BP Pulse Live Arena, with Mikaela Mayer and Shantel Cameron set to headline the event, which is comprised entirely of fights between female fighters from the UK and the US.
