Air strikes are escalating, raising fears of an all-out war.

The United States and Iran are fighting again – just weeks after signing a deal aimed at reaching a final ceasefire.

At the center of the latest conflict is the Strait of Hormuz.

Washington resumed its attack on Tehran after it fired on ships passing through the waterway.

The US attack has focused on the southern coast – but other parts of Iran have also been affected.

President Donald Trump notified Congress that violence has resumed. He says the only way to negotiate with Iran is through military force.

But Tehran says it will not bow to Washington’s threats or aggression.
