Can social media bans protect young users? | | Mental Health News

The UK says it restricts access to people under the age of 16.

The United Kingdom is the latest country to impose stricter restrictions on young people using social media.

Prime Minister Keir Starmer says his government will ban the entry of people under the age of 16.

The plan will also include some restrictions on gaming platforms and live streaming apps.

This follows moves by other countries that have introduced similar initiatives in recent years.

While the move has been widely welcomed, critics say the blanket ban would be ineffective and difficult to enforce.

But will this plan work? How will it be discussed?
