Can Americans spell the words that won the National Spelling Bee?

The BBC has challenged Americans to spell words used in the past three Scripps National Spelling Bee competitions.

14-year-old Shree Parikh won the competition after spelling 32 words correctly in a 90-second lighting round. He beat 12-year-old Ishan Gupta who spelled 25 words correctly.

Parikh beat 247 entrants in the annual competition, competing in the nine to 15-year-old age group, to take home $52,000 (£39,000) in prize money.
