Cameras get the power of Apple Intelligence from Apple Home

Apple Intelligence is coming to Apple Home connected cameras. At WWDC, Apple announced that is iOS27, its HomeKit Secure Video service it will use Apple Intelligence to analyze the video and create descriptions to summarize what the camera saw. You can also search for images and natural language to find recordings from connected cameras, such as when the package was delivered.

The Home app will also use Apple Intelligence to link to relevant clips to give you a picture of what’s going on in your home and top up “popular episodes” on the search page to quickly show you videos that may be relevant.

Finally, a small but welcome change to the Home app is the ability to save multiple notifications for one device into a single notification, which is updated when multiple events occur.
