California wildfires burn near passing vehicles.

According to the California Department of Forestry and Fire Protection (Cal Fire), more than 2,000 acres of wildfires have burned through the night in Southern California.

Aerial footage from Monday shows a helicopter trying to extinguish the blaze as vehicles continue to drive on roads that appear to be near fires in Riverside County.

Evacuation orders have been issued in some areas of the region and shelters have been prepared for displaced residents.

More than 40 fire engines and more than 250 personnel were deployed to fight the Calo Fire.
