A new challenge awaits the Atlas Lions
Morocco is set to play one of the biggest games of the 2026 World Cup Round of 32 against the Netherlands, having drawn Brazil 1-1 in the first round of the group stage.
The match is of particular significance as it will be the second clash of the 2026 World Cup between the two teams ranked in the top 10 of the FIFA World Rankings, after the Atlas Lions and the Seleçao.
Morocco is ranked sixth in the FIFA rankings, with Brazil fifth and the Netherlands seventh.

Morocco qualified for the Round of 32, finishing second in Group 3 with 7 points, behind leaders Brazil on goal difference.
The Netherlands, on the other hand, topped Group F with 7 points from two wins over Sweden and Tunisia and a draw with Japan.
