Bryson DeChambeau turned down PGA talks and committed to LIV Golf

When LIV Golf began to lure star names away from the PGA Tour by offering a huge salary increase in 2022, it led to a huge dividend.

DeChambeau joined LIV Golf in 2022 And, along with fellow stars Jon Rahm and Cameron Smith, he ruled out a return to the PGA Tour earlier this year.

The PGA Tour is set. Returning Member Program, It was open until February 2 and returned to the US circuit as part of an initiative following the departure of Brooks Koepka from LIV Golf.

“We’re building a lot of golf events right now and every team is looking to build junior golf academies. It’s something we’ve been working on for three or four months now,” added DeChambeau.

“We’re looking to host an event here, maybe next time, I’d say a couple of months, because we want to do something special with the team championship. There’s definitely some really cool stuff in the works.”

DeChambeau’s LIV contract expires at the end of this season and he wanted to sign a new deal.

Speaking soon “I was looking for a way to make LIV meaningful as long as it was here,” Deschambeau said before Saudi Arabia’s Public Investment Fund announced it was withdrawing its funding.

“We’re still working on a possible contract. I’m not giving up on this and I think there will be a solution. But now my job is to help the league work after this year.”
