The app also offers a workout, which changes the speed of your speed through the sensors under the belt. It was difficult for me, because I couldn’t figure out how to reduce the speed without the device being stopped. You switch between modes within the app or on the display, and you can turn the machine on and off using the app or remotely. I prefer to use the machine manually, and I prefer using the app over the remote, because the remote connection is inconsistent.
This machine feels like it will have a long life. Its speed makes it more difficult to move around than the Sperax, and while the folding ability is excellent, if you want to move this under something, make sure that its height (5.4 inches) will work. Here is mine full review. –Kristin Canning
The Urevo Strol 2S Pro doubles up as a pedal and feels surprisingly stable under its light tread. I’ve tried a number of inexpensive treadmills, and they tend to feel wobbly at high speeds, but this one stayed in place as I ran at high speeds and inclines (7.6 mph and 9 percent). That top speed isn’t fast enough if you’re looking actually sprint, but it’s enough for a good workout.
If you want to use the treadmill as a walking pad, you can keep the handrail down, which reduces the top speed to 4 mph (although you can still use all the walking functions). There is a display on the front of the machine that switches between time, distance, calories, incline, and speed. To get a faster speed, you need to install the controller, which requires you to use a hex tool to tighten it. The handle also has a display, and you can control the basic functions of the machine from there. There is also a tablet holder that you can include.
