The English midfielder emphasized that representing his country’s national team is greater than any external criticism or opinion, clarifying: “Helping my team and my country is a great honor for me, and no matter what is said outside, the value of this honor will never change for me.”

Bellingham admitted that last season was not easy for him, but now he feels that he is in his best physical and mental condition.

“It was a difficult season for me, but now I feel energetic, focused and strong. I have an inner feeling that pushes me to express myself and it helps me a lot to go into matches with maximum concentration and enthusiasm.”

A message to the critics

Despite the criticism leveled at him, Bellingham stressed that he holds no grudges against his attackers, adding: “I realize that this is part of a footballer’s life and I don’t have any negative feelings towards those who talk bad about me because sometimes I deserve criticism.”
