Belfast Marathon: Alemu Mamo peeps as Selsoli wins the women’s race.

It was third time lucky for Lala Aziza Selsuli in the women’s race as the Moroccan eased to victory with two runner-up finishes.

Celsoli clocked 2:38:00 followed by City of Derry athlete Judith Storm, who ran a personal best of 2:39:09.

“This is my third time – I always want to win and finally I did it,” Celsoli said.

“I love this race, I love running in Belfast and I’m so happy to win.”

Ealing’s Melissa Gibson completed the podium in third place in 2:42:44.

Dearvla Cox (2:44:31) was fourth and Pamela Kirk (2:44:48) fifth.
