Merengue clarify its position on the French star
Bayern Munich president Herbert Hainer has made it clear Michael Olisey is not for sale amid ongoing controversy over the player’s future and Real Madrid’s desire to sign him.
Merengue president Florentino Perez promised club fans a record deal that would be the most expensive in Real Madrid’s history at €150m, so speculation has intensified over Olissi and Atletico star Julian Alvarez.
This comfort upset Bayern Munich and Atlético as they each kept hold of their star, while Real fans were anxiously waiting to see what the club president would do to fulfill his promise.
In response to the speculations circulating in the press about the future of the French winger, Hainer said in the statements given to the newspaper.AbendzeitungGerman. “As I said before, if Real Madrid president Florentino Perez is thinking of making an offer, he can save himself the temptation of trying. We don’t want to sell Michael Olissey.
“As Bayern Munich, we still have a very good relationship with Real Madrid. They contacted me to firstly confirm that they have nothing to do with Olissei at all, and secondly that they do not want this constant speculation in the media.”
When asked about Bayern Munich’s plans in the transfer market, Heiner said the club were very happy to sign Nathaniel Brown and Ismail Sibari, but he refrained from commenting on other possible deals, adding: targeted reinforcement, whether in offense or defense.”
