Dutchman Crescencio Summerville scored one of the biggest goals in the history of the Saudi Roshan League to become one of the most expensive transfers to the competition after moving from West Ham United to Saudi Arabia’s Al Hilal in the current summer transfer window.
According to British reports, the deal is worth around €76 million, making the Dutch winger the third most expensive transfer in the history of the Saudi Arabian professional league, confirming Al Hilal’s continued interest in European football’s biggest stars.
Brazil’s Neymar da Silva continues to top the list after he joined Al Hilal from PSG for €90 million in the summer of 2023, while Colombian John Duran, the Al-Nasr forward, comes in second after moving to Al-Alami for €77 million.

Summerville, worth €76m, moved into third place outright, ahead of Italy’s Matteo Rettighi, the Al-Qadisiya forward, who finished fourth following his €61m move.
The fifth place marks the tie for two big deals, the first for France’s Moussa Diaby, who joined Al-Ittihad, and the second for Brazilian Malcolm from Al-Hilal, with their transfer fees reaching €60m each.
The presence of three Al Hilal players on the list of the most expensive players in Roshan League history reflects the extent of the club’s investment in recent years as part of a project to compete in all local and continental leagues, an approach that looks set to continue with the signing of Summerville, who is expected to be one of the most prominent weapons in the Italian side.
