In a landmark move, Bayern Munich are looking to sign Torniki Kvaratskhelia (16), the younger brother of PSG star Khvica, as the two sides prepare for a crucial Champions League semi-final second leg at the Allianz Arena on Wednesday night.
The action is based on the Kvaratskhelia family
Georgian newspaper La Gazeta revealed on Tuesday that promising Dinamo Tbilisi left winger Torniki has become the subject of serious interest from the Bavarian club as his older brother looks to topple Bayern Munich and reach the European finals.
A Georgian source explained that after his first appearance with Dinamo Tbilisi’s first team, Tornichki traveled to Munich to meet with the German club’s management and visit their premises as a first step to getting to know each other, which could pave the way for a future deal.
The nightmare that haunts “Bavaria”.
In last week’s first leg, Hvicha (25) caused real trouble for the Bayern defense as he scored twice in a thrilling 5-4 win over Paris Saint-Germain in a rare attacking display.
Tomorrow, Wednesday, manager Luis Enrique’s favorite player will have the chance to assert his dominance and help his side qualify for another European final and retain their title, but Belgium coach Vincent Kompany intends to make all the necessary plans to have the Georgian star in his own backyard.
Rising talent sparks European conflict
Torniki, a player of the under-17 national team of Georgia (6 matches), follows in the footsteps of his older brother in Tbilisi “Dinamo”, where he got close to the main team and trained with them for several days.
On May 2, the Tbilisi native made a breakthrough as he was called up to the first team squad for the first time against Dinamo Batumi, despite remaining on the bench for the entire match.

A hot European race
A few days ago, the Italian press reported that Juventus and Napoli were competing to sign Cafara Junior, and Belgian clubs have also expressed interest in him, but Bayern Munich seem to have taken a step forward in the race.
Tornicki is expected to extend his stay in Munich to take part in Wednesday night’s upcoming clash between Bayern Munich and Paris Saint-Germain, a sight that could put him face-to-face with his older brother, even from the stands.
Family history with big clubs
Hviča previously moved from Dinamo Tbilisi to Napoli in 2022, where he became one of Calcio’s most popular stars before moving to Paris Saint-Germain in a huge deal this season, and Tornicki looks set to follow the same path to the European summit.
