“Al Alami” opens the summer market
The Spanish club have unveiled Al-Nasr Club’s first deals of the upcoming summer transfer window, before the Saudi club announced theirs.
Quotes Saudi Al-Riyadiya newspaper The statements of Hector Martin, the press officer of “Real Mallorca”, in which he announced the transfer of his Portuguese midfielder Samo Costa to the ranks of “Al-Nasr”.
“The deal has been settled between Mallorca and Al-Nasr and a final agreement has been reached between them for the transfer of Samu Costa after the Saudi club prevailed over German Leipzig and other European offers.”
As revealed Okaz newspaper, Saudi Arabia Earlier, “Al-Nasr” agreed to include the Portuguese midfielder for 9 million euros, which should be paid in two stages, which is considered a small amount.
So, Samo Costa will be the first deal that Al-Nasr will sign in the summer transfer window, as they have yet to sign any players due to the financial crisis.
Samo Costa has had a distinguished career, most of which was spent in Spain, where he played for Almeria between 2020 and 2023, before moving to Real Mallorca, where he still plays.
At the international level, Costa began his journey with the Portuguese national team with Cristiano Ronaldo from October 2024, but he only played 7 matches with them.
The 25-year-old was called up to Portugal’s 2026 World Cup in the Americas, Canada and Mexico, but made just one appearance as a 20-minute substitute in a goalless draw with Colombia in the third round of the group stage.
