The management of the Bayern team is eager to fulfill Kompany’s request
The Belgian coach of “Bayern Munich” Vincent Kompany led the name of the English football player in the list of defensive goals, taking advantage of the expiration of the contract with “Manchester City” at the end of the current season.
According to reports from the British “Daily Mail”, Kompany has asked the management of the Bavarian club to make a formal move to sign John Stones on a free transfer to strengthen the team’s backline before the start of the new season.
However, Bayern’s mission will not be easy, as the paper reports that the England international is attracting interest from several clubs who are keen to snap him up, notably Barcelona and Everton, in addition to newly promoted Coventry City.
Stones joined Manchester City from Everton in the summer of 2016, but his career has clearly been affected by repeated injuries in recent seasons, which have reduced his participation. The 31-year-old has made just 17 appearances this season, totaling 1,066 minutes, keeping no goals and no goals.
