Will the Bavarians surrender?
Bayern Munich are moving towards a surprising option to strengthen their forward line, having identified young English winger Rio Njomuha, a 17-year-old from Liverpool, as their first target on the left wing, a move that reflects the Bavarian club’s desire to secure the future of this vital position after attempts to sign Anthony Gordon failed.
According to the British “The Athletic”, Belgian coach Vincent Kompany has shown great interest in the promising English talent, while the German network “Sky” confirmed that Bayern Munich have already reached a preliminary agreement with the player whose profile Kompany confirmed.
However, Liverpool have taken a firm stand by firmly rejecting their rising star, stressing that their star, who is under contract with the club until 2028, is under no circumstances for sale, especially after the remarkable performances the young international played in 29 games last season.
His star-studded form convinced Liverpool’s management not to sign a replacement for Colombian Luis Diaz when he moved to Bayern Munich last summer, reflecting the confidence the English club place in their young talent.
Liverpool, on the other hand, are currently looking to strengthen the left-back position by bringing in new signings, notably Frenchman Yann Diomande from German club Leipzig, as part of his plan to strengthen the attacking options available to his manager.
