Bath: Ben Spencer returns to face Bordeaux-Bagles in the Champions Cup semis


Andrew Porter has returned to the loose head to lead Leinster up front in Saturday’s semi-final against Toulon at the Aviva Stadium.

Porter has not played since picking up the injury in the last-16 win over Edinburgh at the start of April.

However, with team-mate Ireland international Tadhg Furlong absent following the weekend’s defeat to Benetton, Tom Clarkson has come in strong.

Joe McCarthy and James Ryan are paired in the second row, while Harry Byrne leads from fly-half and All Black Raikou Ioan is on the wing.

Toulon include former England prop Kyle Sinclair and Scotland scrum-half Ben White in their starting line-up, along with junior Kopoku. who won the Under-20 World Cup in 2024 with England’s age-grade teamEarn the nod at the blindside flanker.

South African-born second row David Ribbons, who won 11 England caps between 2022 and 2023, captains the side.
